On Wednesday, May 15th, our second graders celebrated their class mass by crowning Our Lady with a variety of flowers donated by our school families. Volunteers worked tirelessly that morning to prepare the arches and platform for the statue of Mary. The annual tradition of the May crowning is one of the highlights for second grade, as they get to wear their First Communion outfits and receive the Eucharist for the first time as a class.
Our second grade class invites you to celebrate with them at the 10:30AM Student Body Mass and May Crowning celebration this Wednesday, May 15th. Families are invited to bring flowers of all types to make floral arches and a platform for the statue of Our Lady.
Congratulations to our 6th grade students on their graduation from the Cypress P.A.C.E. program (Positive Action through Character Education). The P.A.C.E. program supports character development by fostering positive values and qualities that will help students become successful, productive citizens.
