St. Irenaeus Parish School sponsors many fundraising projects throughout the school year. The two mandatory fundraisers include the Back to School Opportunity Drawing and the Innisbrook Wrapping Paper/Helen Grace Candy sale. Detailed information about these programs was included in the registration packets at the beginning of the school year.
There are other fundraising programs coordinated through the school’s Development Department. These programs help to bridge the gap between the cost of educating our students, and the money raised through tuition and fees. These programs are listed below. | Annual Giving | Investments made to this program enable our school to support our strategic planning goals. Donations may be made to this program from July 1-June 30 of each school year. Complete information is included in the Fall School/Alumni Newsletter. |
| Parish School Offering (Red envelopes) | Gifts may be given to the school through the red envelopes that are found in the pews in church, and those included in the mailed envelopes in January. All of the money donated to this program goes directly to Tuition Assistance so that a Catholic education can be a reality for more children in our parish. Gifts may be given in memory of, or to honor a friend or relative. |
| Business “Partners in Education” | This program offers local businesses an opportunity to invest in our school and in turn be acknowledged in the principal’s newsletter, school newsletters, and the annual report. |
| Legacy Wall | Honor a class, a family, or the memory of someone from the school community by purchasing a bronze plaque for $500. The Legacy Wall is on the column in front of the school library. |
| Payroll Deductions | Donations to the Annual Giving campaign may be made via payroll donation. These donations are made directly with your employer and are credited towards the school’s annual giving program. Some companies donate to our school via the United Way of Los Angeles (School Designation # 11976), and Orange County United Way ( School Designation #STI150) campaigns |
| Payroll Deduction/Matching Gift Programs | Check with the Human Resources division of your company. Our school currently receives payroll deductions and matching gift donations from AT&T, Boeing, Delta Dental, General Dynamics, Johnson and Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, Kaiser Permanente, Verizon, Wells Fargo, Edison International, Toyota Motor Sales, American Honda, BP, Raytheon, UPS, and Wells Fargo. |

Users may designate St. Irenaeus Parish School to be the recipient of a donation for every search done through this site. In addition the school will receive between 3 and 20% of the sale for online purchase through the retail stores on the goodshop.com site. |
| Box Tops for Education | Collect box tops throughout the year and turn them into St. I. Our school receives about $800 a year from General Mills’ Box Tops for Education program. We will continue to collect the box tops throughout the year. |
| The Marketplace at Box Tops for Education | The Box Tops Marketplace will give St. Irenaeus School a percentage of your online purchase when you shop at over 70 participating stores, such as Lands’ End, Oriental Trading and OfficeMax. | Brain Power Mania | St. Irenaeus Parish School will take part in the Buena Park Mall’s Brain Power Mania Program. Just log in your receipts from any Buena Park Mall or Buena Park Place merchant like, Kohl’s, Walmart, Toys R Us, and Chili’s, and our school will receive (10) points for each dollar spent. The program runs from September 15, 2011 to May 21, 2012. Receipts can be logged in at Customer Service located on the upper level near Lane Bryant or simply put them in the Brain Power Mania box located in the school office. If you register to receive Brain Power updates our school will receive 1,000 points each! |
