TIME TO VOTE! The 3^rd Annual Avery “Give Back to Schools” program has begun. The top 5 schools with the most votes will receive $10,000 worth of Avery office and school supplies, 25,000 Box Tops (redeemable for $2,500 cash), and $1,000 in gift cards! We were one of the winners in their last competition, so we can do it again!!

It’s simple. Have everyone you know visit http://www.avery.com/giveback to register and vote for St. Irenaeus School. Remember, they can vote once per day. The competition continues through September, so we need everyone to keep voting daily. You can also register as many emails as you use, so our chances get better with each vote!

ANNUAL MOTHER’S BREAKFAST & RETREAT

Our annual Mother’s Breakfast & Retreat, scheduled Friday, May 11th, from 8:30AM-11:30AM, is filling up fast! This year’s speakers – Lisa Reiner-Parra and Irma Ortiz-Rodriguez – have extraordinary personal stories to share! As a special treat, we will celebrate a private Mass in the Parish Hall beginning at 9:00AM. All women of faith are invited. Come enjoy a delicious catered breakfast and retreat – cost is only $10 a person! Contact the School Office at 714/827-4500 for more information.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Pentathletes! On March 31st, 18 of our students competed with 14 other schools in the Orange County Academic Pentathlon in five subject areas: Essay, Literature, Mathematics, Science and the Social Studies Super Quiz. On Tuesday, April 24th our teams attended the Awards Night, where they won 27 individual medals, as well as four team awards!
