Faith Development
In 1963 when Sr. Anne Broderick and the Presentation Sisters opened St. Irenaeus School, they envisioned a school that would offer a quality educational program in a setting where the gospel message of faith, love, and service to others would not only be taught, but lived each and every day.
Though a great deal has changed since 1963, our commitment to these founding principles has not. We strive to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to learn about our Catholic teachings and to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, class retreats, and liturgical celebrations. Students in all grades have opportunities to reflect and grow in their faith development. The grade level Religion and Stewardship Curriculums teach our students the gospel message and how to give thanks for our blessings through loving service to those in need in our school, parish, and global community,
