A Little About Me
My name is Renee Faecke and I have been a part of the Diocese of Orange since I attended elementary school at St. Pius V in Buena Park from first through eighth grade. After graduating from high school, I attended California State University, Fullerton and received a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject CLAD teaching credential. I started teaching in the Diocese of Orange in 2001 as a sixth grade homeroom teacher and social studies teacher for grades fifth through eighth. In 2006, I completed a Master’s Degree in history at California State University, Fullerton. Over the course of 20+ years, I have taught every grade from third through eighth grade, either as a homeroom teacher and/or a single subject teacher. I was blessed to join St. Irenaeus Parish School in 2023 as a middle school teacher. I come from a family of seven, with four younger brothers, and have been a resident of Anaheim for over 20 years. In my free time I love to travel and explore the world, and my goal is to eventually visit every continent. I believe that educators seek to open windows and doors to possibilities while providing the guidance students need to seek the opportunity in the first place. My goal is to provide students not only with knowledge, but also a strong foundation in their Catholic faith with which to face the world beyond the classroom.
