A Little About Me
I came to St. Irenaeus Parish School as a parent in 1990. I soon became part of the Home & School Association board, first as secretary, and then as President for 3 years. In 1997 I was tasked with revamping the volunteer program, and the FISH program (Family Involvement Service Hours) was developed. After two years of volunteering keeping track of parents reporting their hours, I was officially hired as the “FISH Coordinator”. When I was not working on FISH, I was assisting the Principal with a variety of special projects (like WASC reports, calendaring, and technology) and soon became Administrative Assistant to the Principal, a role I continue today. Over the years I have served on the School Board, the Development Committee, and currently as the school’s secretary in the front office. Graduating from a Catholic business school in New York City, my specialty is proofreading and organization. I love working at St. Irenaeus – it has been home to both of my daughters, and hopefully my two new grandsons!
